Capezio CP01 Review by standfree

Ordered this shoe via Amazon. It arrived quickly, but it was smaller than we expected and therefore didn't fit. We went a size and a half up from our present jazz shoe, which is a tie up model, but the two are obviously sized differently. The shoe looked tight and very comfortable, but just too small to keep. Excellent pricing on-line for this shoe if you know the exact size you need to prevent having to return as we did.

These jazz shoes are very nice, and the price and delivery from Amazon is great! My problem began when I listened to several reviewers who said to order up a size. I did, and had to return two pair because my feet swam in them right off. When you order, keep in mind that jazz shoes are designed to "stretch to fit" and should be very snug to start out. I will order my usual size in the future.


Capezio CP01 Review by Squeaky

Ordered from Amazon on July 28th, arrived August 2nd. The shoe is lovely and obviously well-made. Haven't had a chance to dance with them yet, but will update my review when I have.

I wear a size 10 in street shoes. After reading the reviews here, I ordered an 11 1/2. I would say it's maybe a bit too big. The leather cups out a bit from time to time, and there's a little more room for my toes than I'd like -- it feels sort of like I haven't pulled my socks up all the way. The shoe stays on, though, so it's mainly aesthetic issues for me. And it's possible that after dancing for a while, my foot will expand a bit and fill the shoe up better.
